Children today have lots of demands: homework, pressure to compete with other children, endless after school activities, over-scheduling; they all add up.

Yoga helps children develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. Starting Yoga when young gives a child the opportunity to develop a love for nature, experience peace and inner silence. They can carry these skills beyond class and into their daily routines.

The yoga for kids in our shala is design as a course to develop discipline toward physical, mental and emotional aspects of the personality through Yoga asana, breathing exercise, relaxation and meditation. This course is a dynamic practice to cultivate independence, courage, and awareness to their bodies as well improved concentration and memory power. The kids class is for kids age between 5 - 12 years old.
